Reallyree Goes Crazee over our Tanning Mousse.

This month, Ree over at www.reallyree.com had the opportunity to try out the Celebrity Secrets Tanning Mousse for herself. Unfortunately for Ree, she was so busy with sunless tan products that she had to pass that golden moment on to her friend Lucy – a serious tan aficionado.

Bride Kath had refrained from the temptations of a Spray Tan for years, but as her special day approached she felt that a healthy glow would be the perfect compliment to her white dress and tanned fiancé.

Using the simple to erect, pop up Spray Tan Cubicle, the scene was set in just a few minutes. A choice of solutions was made available allowing Kath to achieve a nature tanned look, and before she knew it, she had that healthy glow she was hoping for.

One interesting thing that Kath discovered, as so many others are keen to tell us too, is that she received more compliments about her spray tan than she did about the tan she got on her honeymoon, where she had to expose herself to all those UV rays!

Joanne Burke Gives Spray Tans In Support Of Dress For Success

Morgan McKinley put on a fantastic evening of Glamour for Secretarial Professionals and Office Support Staff last week and it was a major success. The evening was hosted in association with the womens charity Dress for Success, which promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in their work and life.

The event was attended by over 70 Office Professionals and saw them donating their loved shoes, handbags and jewellery to this amazing cause. It is always great to see women working together to improve the lives of others and this event was certainly no exception.

The event was also attended by Ritesh Patel who showed a selection of different looks from Hobbs’ workwear line of ladies clothing and tricks to maximise the use of these great clothes to transform them from day wear to evening fashion. Also on hand were stylists from Andrew Jose hair salon showing the ladies some party hair ideas, and Mary Kay makeup consultants were giving free makeovers and tips to prepare your skin for winter.

Western Mail go undercover testing Fake Tans!

Last month – August – Western Mails Emily Woodrow sent in a team of undercover uninitiated tanners to sample a selection of the Spray Tan Services offered by salons in the Cardiff area.

It’s always good to hear about this kind of ‘sampling’ especially when those involved are not regular users of sunless tanning products, as they tend to be the most critical and that’s what we need to ensure we are still providing the very best product in the industry today.

In all, they visited 5 different Salons and were able to test 5 different manufacturers products. This included the expertise of the Spray Tan Technician applying the tan and providing helpful advice, through to the application of the Spray Tan and their experience with the tan afterwards.

Western Mail sent their undercover tanner to Tans & Hands at Crwys Road in Cardiff to test out Celebrity Secrets Spray Tan and this is what their reporter had to say…

“The salon is a small, clean and friendly set-up, and they offer evening appointments – though be warned they book up in advance. My therapist Katy talked me through what colour I could achieve. Unlike other systems where you select from a light, medium or dark, this reacts to your skin tone, with a grading scale from 6-22% – although 16% tends to be the highest they go. The tan takes eight hours to develop during which I had to avoid getting wet. I was advised it would get darker and patchy in the first few hours, but that this would disappear after a shower. It looked natural, not at all orangey, with no streaks. Adhering to a strict moisturising regime, it disappeared evenly”

They gave the Celebrity Secrets Spray Tan 4.5/5 and of course, we were not surprised to hear that even though we were up against some of the higher profile brands, we achieved the highest mark!

Reflecting the modernisation of the Woman’s Institute, Celebrity Secrets spray tans are set to become as famous as jam and Jerusalem. The New Celebrity Secrets Spray Tan Parties have been given a trial run by the Women’s Institute. Head technician for the south Vicky Hall (who has previously spray tanned Dawn Porter) took her pop up cubicle to one of the homes of ladies from The Halstead W.I. and create an Instant Celebrity Secrets Spray Tan Party.
