S2000 Overspray Booth ~ from Apollo

The new S2000 Salon Overspray Booth, is the new high efficiency spray tan extractor from Solarex.

This new improved booth is the big sister to the S1000, however, instead of three fans just extracting from the bottom half of the unit there is just one backward curved fan in each section.

The advantage of this type of fan is that when the filters block, the fan works harder to keep the same airflow, thus there is less decrease in efficiency as the filters get full. Also, the filters run the full length of the unit, which helps to capture any overspray that might rise (most of the solution does drop into the bottom filter). Now with two filters, one in the top section and one in the bottom. The advantage of this is that overall filter life should be longer.

As tanning solution is heavier than air, the top filter will not capture as much as the bottom one. This means that after the recommended 70 tans, the bottom filter needs to be changed and then the top one replaces the bottom one in rotation.

S1000 Extractor ~ from Apollo

This is a totally new Spray Tan extraction unit. It is designed as a salon based unit and is approximately 185cm tall and the side panels are 75cm wide. This unit incorporates three fans so has a capacity of 1065m3 per hour. The central column is made of metal, coated in black paint. The side panels are semi transparent green acrylic. It also includes a shaped black rubber mat. The top third of the unit has a built in storage cupboard for towels and solution etc.

This Salon based filtration unit is for the removal and filtration of overspray generated in the application of Sunless Tanning solutions. When Sunless Tanning Solution is sprayed through an airbrush or HVLP spray gun, a certain amount of the solution does not settle on the body, but floats around in the atmosphere. Some will be breathed in by both the client or therapist and some will settle on the walls and furniture covering them in a brown stain. By using the Salon Mist extractor, this can be reduced to a minimum, making a cleaner healthier working environment.

For extra protection and cleaner air consider adding a portable extractor as the perfect partner to the spray tan cubicle.

Tanning solution overspray descends rapidly. For maximum overspray capture, position the unit on the floor behind the client. Place in the upright position for spraying lower legs and feet and in the reclining position for the upper legs and body.

For the best results position the unit 6" from the back of the cubicle leave the extractor on for 5 minutes after completing the tan to ensure a reduction in overspray. Move the client forward. Move the client forward. High Volume filters capable of up to 30 tans!
